Collins Pond West is at the head waters of the 30 acre Hog Slough reservoir. The hunting is a wetland hunt, surrounded by cattails, millet and wild rice. Collins West is protected from the north winds by large pin oaks providing food, shelter and refuge, especially on windy days for an excellent duck hunt.
